PERMANENT MAKEUP
Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup, such as eye lining and other permanent enhancing colors to the skin of the face, lips, and eyelids. Eyebrow microblading and shading can give you a beautiful natural look while shading the lips can restore shape and pigment we lose as we age.
BEST PRACTICES
Avoid the use Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Beta Hydroxy Acid, Retinol (Vitamin A), Vitamin C (in a low pH formula) or anything perceived as ‘active’ skincare for at least 1 week prior to treatment.
AVOID blood thinning over-the-counter medications such as Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, and Aleve. Also avoid herbal supplements, such as Garlic, Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort, and Omega-3 capsules for 1-2 weeks prior to treatment to avoid excessive bleeding/bruising.
Do not drink alcoholic beverages 24 hours before (or after) your treatment.
Avoid sun or tanning bed exposure. Eyebrows (forehead) area cannot be sun burned.
Botox should be done 2-3 weeks before or after microblading.
Lip fillers can be done 4 to 6 weeks before or after lip blushing procedure.
No brow waxing, tinting, threading before procedure. Any brow shaping will take place at your appointment.
